We are Viessmann trained installers and we fit one brand we know inside out. That means we know the faults, carry the right parts and register your warranty properly. The prices below are for a straightforward like-for-like combi swap. Your survey fixes the figure and we will say if your home needs something different.

Old boilers cost more to run. A boiler over 15 years old can be running at 70% efficiency or lower. A new condensing boiler is over 90%. For a home using 12,000 kWh of gas a year that difference is roughly £200 a year at current prices; your own bill will tell you more precisely.
Energy Saving TrustServicing keeps the warranty. Every manufacturer requires an annual service by a Gas Safe engineer or the warranty lapses. We book next year's before we leave.
Viessmann warranty termsControls matter as much as the boiler. A room thermostat, radiator valves and a timer are the legal minimum on a new boiler. Weather compensation goes further: it turns the boiler temperature down on mild days, so it runs more efficiently without you touching anything.

A rule that applies to new gas boilers in England. In plain terms: your new boiler must have a room thermostat and a timer, and combi boilers need one extra energy-saving feature such as weather compensation, which adjusts the boiler temperature to the weather outside so it runs more efficiently. We fit what is needed as part of the install.
Age alone is not a reason. Rising repair bills, parts becoming hard to get, an efficiency rating well below a modern condensing boiler, or a boiler that cannot heat the house properly are. We will give you an honest answer at the survey, including 'keep it' if that is the right call.
